My First Orientation Week

The story about my first orientation week is start from when I went into a university called INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY,IMU. I take Foundation In Science courses as my foundation before I become a doctor.The university's orientation is a total of three days,which are start from first of MAY 6,2015.I couldn't wait for it to start.I was looking forward to my orientation week.Finally,that day came.

A WELCOME BOARD THAT PREPARED BY OUR SENIOR

On my first orientation day,i should be gathered in the auditorium for a briefing based on the timetable.When I first step foot into the auditorium, I realized the auditorium is large and comfortable.I saw a lot of new face that I've never seen before,this made me feel more excited to begin my university life.I've introduced myself kindly to my foundation mates.The briefing that was prepared by the teacher is interesting, she showed some videos about the seniors' life in IMU, which further increase my excitement in studying in IMU.

After the short briefing ,I've submit my documents and proceed to take my student ID card during the registration session. My feeling is indescribable when I obtain my student ID card, as this is my first time experiencing university life.

On the second day,i was told to dress us casually as i am going to participate some fun-filled activities that was organized by my senior.Firstly,I enjoyed the ice breaking activities.All of the foundation student were divided into ten groups,and i was put into Group 6.Each of the group would have 15 group member and two officer organizer,oo.

After we made a decision regarding my group name,which call Grumpy Anabelle， we all had to remember the group member's name within 10 minutes, this is quite stressful for us as we do not really know each other that well, but then again, we managed to pull through. After the session, we all became closer to one and another.

After the ice breaking session,we were going to the next activities which call over and down.The main purpose of this activities is to create a close bond among each other.My team had score a high marks in this activities because of we worked together as a team.I feel so proud as i am one of the group member.

OVER AND DOWN ACTIVITY

Furthermore,we proceeded to the Treasure Hunt game. This game was started when the group leader from each groups are given a clue. We all together must work as a team to find the next clue according to the previous clue.Throughout this game, i had deepen my knowledge about the various places in imu. After all the hard work retrieving all the clues, we managed to get champion for this game and we did it!

On the last day, we were assigned to put up a short drama based on the genre Horror and Comedy. The amount of time to produce a script and practicing our roles are limited, but we managed to pull through the performance on that night. We discussed and gather up every one's opinion to create an interesting performance.

I acted as an angel in my group,although i am not the main character of the drama,but the nervousness is there but i was able to get a hold of myself to act in the play.

The best performance and group cheer title was given to Group 9, so as the best actor goes to Jokerbell played by Desmond Tee from group 9, their group had grabbed the attention from the audience including me.I have to admit, their performance was really good.Even though my group didn't get champion in this performance,but we felt happy and satisfied because we had a close bond with each other.

My orientation week had ended,but my memories regarding the orientation week will stay in my life. I had a lot of fun with my new friends during this orientation week and i was grateful that the seniors and officer organizer had put all their effort into our orientation week and made it a memorable time for me.
